I’ve never been great at writing about myself, so I’ll keep it brief and we can all get back to enjoying our photography!

I live and work (not as a photographer) in the North East of England, and I love it. Photography is a hobby and passion, of mine, and who knows- maybe it’ll be more than that one day. Right now, I’m being kept busy with my “day job”, which I also enjoy immensely- I consider myself very fortunate in that respect.

This site exists purely as an output for my experimentation with taking pictures. I have several cameras, and I love that each is suited to different conditions. None of them are “professional”, but I don’t see why that should stop anyone making a great image. I’d like to think it hasn’t stopped me. The cameras I find myself using most are my Canon 50D, and my iPhone 4S (truly incredible!)

Landscapes are my passion, though I have been known to take the odd picture of people. It’s not that I don’t like working with people, there’s just something about capturing the world we live in that has held my interest for as long as I can remember.

One day I’d like to host an exhibition, or perhaps create a book with my photographs. Not because I’d like them to make me “rich and famous”, but because they’re two things that I’ve always enjoyed myself. If I could pass on that enjoyment to someone else through my photographs then I’d be very happy indeed.
